would like to see it, Maffeo and Henrich going forward, both 19/20, if we keep an experienced full back around them as cover and mentor that would work a treat. Plus I've read Henrich has played LB, RB, CB, CM and both wings at youth level so the versatility helps also.

According to latest news reported in Sky Sport Deutschland, German international right-back Benjamin Henrichs (20), through his entourage, met Manchester City representatives in Koln, in order to get transfer talks started. Currently on a deal with Bayer Leverkusen until June 2020, 1997-born talented player has been linked to Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, and Real Madrid.

I would have seen him play for Leverkusen at Koln, (the midweek before Christmas), but unfortunately, he was injured and missed the game.
Hopefully, that's not an omen.

The article says they rejected us. According to the article his agent says there's no reason to change now because they think Bayer is best for his development for now.
