surprised they've released as low as 15.5k as dont think it will reach that but fingers crossed most people who want to go, can get a ticket...

Tickets for Manchester City's Premier League opener against Brighton will be on sale from 9am on Monday 17 July.

We have been allocated 2,967 tickets for the game, which kicks off at 5.30pm on Saturday 12 August.

Tickets are priced as follows:

  • Adults: £30.00
  • Over 65s: £23.00
  • Under 21s: £23.00
  • Under 18s: £15.00
Qualifying sales criteria
Tickets will be available online at mancity.com/tickets, by telephone on +44 (0)161 444 1894 (option 1, option 1, option 2)* and in-person at the Ticket Office located on the first floor of the City Store at the Etihad Stadium for supporters that meet the following criteria

  • Cityzens with a 2017/18 Platinum, Gold or 93:20 Seasoncard with 20,500 or more ticket points – Monday 17 July at 9am
  • Cityzens with a 2017/18 Platinum, Gold or 93:20 Seasoncard with 19,500 or more ticket points – Monday 17 July at 2pm
  • Cityzens with a 2017/18 Platinum, Gold or 93:20 Seasoncard with 18,500 or more ticket points – Tuesday 18 July at 9am
  • Cityzens with a 2017/18 Platinum, Gold or 93:20 Seasoncard with 18,000 or more ticket points – Tuesday 18 July at 2pm
  • Cityzens with a 2017/18 Platinum, Gold or 93:20 Seasoncard with 17,500 or more ticket points – Wednesday 19 July at 9am
  • Cityzens with a 2017/18 Platinum, Gold or 93:20 Seasoncard with 17,000 or more ticket points – Wednesday 19 July at 2pm
  • Cityzens with a 2017/18 Platinum, Gold or 93:20 Seasoncard with 16,500 or more ticket points – Thursday 20 July at 10am
  • Cityzens with a 2017/18 Platinum, Gold or 93:20 Seasoncard with 16,000 or more ticket points – Thursday 20 July at 2pm
  • Cityzens with a 2017/18 Platinum, Gold or 93:20 Seasoncard with 15,500 or more ticket points – Friday 21 July at 9am
  • Cityzens with a 2017/18 Platinum, Gold or 93:20 Seasoncard with 15,250 or more ticket points – Friday 21 July at 2pm.
Should any tickets remain; further selling criteria will be announced on the website.

There is a limited allocation for juniors to purchase at the same time as a qualifying adult.
 
20,500 points haha!!!

It's not like city are trying to force people into going platinum and sign up for all cup schemes to boost points.

That doesn't even work anymore you may increase your points but then the criteria increases by another 2k a season and it makes no difference to wether you bought platinum or not sadly

Just seems like a pointless (no pun intended) system, if you can't get tickets for away games how are you suppose to increase your criteria?
