Arijanet Muric | Joins Burnley on a permanent deal

He's very consistent. Putting that slight misjudgement down to nerves and nowt else. Even then his pace and size will usually get him out of bother as it did then. He's a helluva prospect - genuinely.

I thought his recovery against Spurs was excellent. He showed surprising agility for such a big lad. Which of the youngsters will be our No 3 do you think?

Muric can't really be the 3rd choice keeper as he doesn't qualify as u21 for UEFA, which means he would take up one of the 17 foreign places in the main squad.

Isnt that just for European competition? He's fine for stuff domestically.

Yeah, but it means at best we're going to have Muric for domestic 3rd choice and Grimshaw for Europe. Which would mean Grimshaw having no experience if he was needed in Europe because any domestic experience would be taken up by Muric.

It's possible but not ideal.

It's hardly a tragedy though.

Chances are we won't see Grimshaw in the CL next season at all, but if we do, well we have shitloads of skillful forwards anyway. :)
