City have been drawn away 10 consecutive times in domestic cup competitions. 9 of those were against Premier League teams and the other was against a team that was promoted to the Premier League the same season. I'm not saying there's a conspiracy but I'd be interested to know what the odds were against that happening.

Extremely small. Even Pep knows it's fixed. Hinting to how ridiculous the draws we've had were in one of his press conferences.

love the theories.

The draw is just set up with TV splits etc. just means it's very easy to put teams in difficult/easy situations without involving many people. The odds alone are good enough to not need much interference.

In 2012-13 the groups containing City, United and Chelsea were the last ones waiting for their pot 4 teams to be drawn. Except they weren't. The teams left were Cluj, Nordsjaelland and Dortmund. Because of this TV nonsense these teams were automatically placed (not drawn) into the respective groups. United were given Cluj, Chelsea were given Nordsjaelland and City were given Dortmund.

A bit like the bidding to host the World Cup in Quatar?

With the money sloshing around the upper echelons (FIFA/UEFA/FA/CONMEBOL/Sky/ESPN/Eurosport/BT), it would be foolish to believe their isn't corruption at some level. If you factor in the money bet on the outcome of games across the world, their are a lot of individuals/organisations who stand to make an awful of of money. This is before you take into account illegal betting syndicates with links to match officials.

Mark clattenburg says hi

There is too much money in the game for there not to be corruption, in fact there was too much money in the game 20 years ago for there not to be corruption. Ask yourself this - how can the same agent act for both the selling club and the buying club on a transfer without anyone talking about a conflict of interest. Remember George Graham and his bungs, Redknapp is another one, the Bebe transfer springs to mind, agents acting exclusively for one club etc etc. If anyone doesn't think their is corruption then they need their heads testing
