Hate it. It think it's a shit formation for attacking football to start with, but what makes it worse is it doesn't suit our players at all. Sane and Sterling were devastating last year as direct wingers, it's pretty much where we were at our most dangerous. So why play a formation that doesn't have wingers? It clearly hasn't worked for us, don't know what our record with it is like but it seems like all our best football has been played with wingers and all our worst has been with three at the back

Hate it and it doesnt suit our players - literally just feels like a way of pep shoehorning the two forwards into the team.
Walker is a great full back but he isnt particularly very productive going forward. Obviously it would probably suit the strength's of Mendy (and Danilo), but as others have said, we played our best stuff last season when we had our wide men firing.
Plus Kompany looks absolutely miles better and at home in a 2.
The sooner he stops pissing about and reverts back to 4-5-1 the better.

Against teams that will be sitting back and park the bus (most of the PL opponents) 3 CB's are a joke. And the amount of times they are passing between each other is a waste of time.
Napoli used this system last few years remember when they had Cavani, Lavezzi same group with us in CL and they punished us because they sit back and counter with great pace.
But opponents dont open up against us, dont come on us to leave big spaces behind, also wingbacks wont have that much empty space to use down the wings. To me 352 doesnt make much sense.
Especially as we just dont have that killer instinct upfront to kill of teams. We waste 20 chances to score one. Then opponent makes 5 chances and scores one..
1-1 in the end. Happens way too often...

Bench de bruyne and the silvas?Play 442 with Mendy Sane, Walker Sterling and we can win the league, the chances and goals will come. If he keeps tinkering with formations then get ready for more unbalanced performances and draws at home.

doesn't really matter what formation we play if we need about 15 chances to score and opponent 1-2 chances.
