"Pochettino's apparent lack of enthusiasm for the competition was shared by Spurs supporters, with the 90,000-seater national stadium less than one-third full."

Would've said

"Gaurdiola's apparent disdain for the competition and anything else, was shared by City supporters and Arab owners, with the 90,000-seater national stadium having only a handful of fans, no atmosphere, and no history"

"Most of Manchester City's few supporters stayed at home in Stockport because they'd never heard of the Carabao Cup."

Billionaires Manchester City who have spent the most money in a transfer window ever couldn't sell out the stadium last night despite giving tickets away to anyone who wanted one.

Jim White on talkshite at ten, where will Sanchez be better off at utd or City
Very very clever by mourinho and the rag PR machine, feed the media a bullshit none story and sit back and watch it snowball, more publicity for the swamp dwellers, easy peasy

Manchester City's council built stadium less than a third full. State sponsored City laboured to a 12 nil hollow victory against the plucky team made up of ex miners and whippet breeders.

RE Herrera claims, fair enough, as long as he knows that by his logic United should be easily finishing second. Which they probably won't.

The BBC even got their stats wrong. Based on a 90,000 capacity the stadium was only 26.6% full, so to say a third (33.3%) when it is so obviously much nearer a quarter is pandering to their favorites.
In City's it case it would definitely be reported as 'Three quarters empty, the Emptyhad'.
