Best Indian Restaurant In Manchester

Great Katmandu in West Dids (for no apparent reason) went down hill a few years ago. Haven’t tried the other West Dids Nepalese mind.
Tiffin Room always grabs good headlines.
Anybody tried Asha’s (from Brimful of Asha fame) on Peter Street?

been to probly half of the places mentioned here , my recommendation is Khandoker Parrs Wood , often go with a crowd of snooker players , all leave very happy and say it cant be beaten , I suspect the poster decrying it means the takeaway of the same name a few doors along.

Amans on the E.lancs near Boothstown. Excellent.

Got to choose carefully at Amans imo. They do a great Biryani (although with a strange looking hard boiled egg), most of the starters are really good and some of the specials are good. The standard curries are too thin for my taste, more gravy than sauce.

Ashas is superb, not cheap but real quality, decor, food, service...
