TV Games - Dec/Jan

Tbf the rags game pushed back after shalke is better for us and newcastle boxing day with no transport was a pain so nit gonna complain(if home tie admitttedly would).
Palace NYE at midday give time to get home for the nights festivities or stay in London.

Not saying great, but we have had worse in previous years.

As for west ham 3 days before shalke, well we should be able to play our rotation against them as they are shite, rest KDB or Silva for bernardo or Ilkey if we need tgem fresh for the ukraine and and play eitger sergio or jesus resting the other.

Would be more bothered if rags was 3 days after than west ham 3 days before.
Which means, as someone has already pointed out, that we won't be playing Watford at home on New Year's Day.

The powers that be have really fucked us over this Christmas.
And the twats don't even have the Courtesy to complete the TV fixtures for the New Year leaving fans of all Clubs wondering where they are playing on New Years Day when there is no Public Transport, wankers. At least we know we now have a mediocre game to be played on an Evening when most people are back at work.

Absolute joke, home Boxing day, away New Years day is how it should be but not only do we miss out on Boxing day football we don't even get a home game over the festive holiday. A home game on the 2nd or 3rd January when most people are fucked and skint after Christmas is the last thing we need. Newcastle away on a Wednesday night and Palace way at 12 noon on New Years Eve is a piss take. Salford cop for 3pm Boxing day at home, 5:30 on the Saturday at home and probably an away game at 3pm on New Years Day. If anyone doesn't believe there is influence on these fixtures they need to have a good think.
Is it a stitch up or just a lack of consideration? Seem to remember there was uproar when the Scousers were expected to play away on Christmas Eve

Most of the countries in the rest of Europe shut down usually the week before Christmas and start again the week after New Year. The German League shuts down for almost a month. What I want to know is why can't we do the same, as most of the other leagues and shut down for the Christmas and New Year period. This will give the players time to spend with their families, instead of spending time at the club. This also would give them a small break and allow them to enjoy Christmas and the New Year like the rest of us.

Unbelievable that a team playing so far away in Europe has their weekend game moved to late on the Sunday. TV companies yet again taking the piss and nobody at any club says anything.

I think Conte mentioned it a few times

All of the grounds are full over the Christmas period. It's a great time to watch football
