Last Film You Saw

I wanted to like it but found myself like you in a desolate ocean of nothingness. There are some films where every single good bit is in the trailer and this is king of that.
It could have had so much more depth and character but this method of film making left me cold, uninterested and apathetic to the rest of the content.

It kind of annoyed me really as it could have been so much more.
Totally agree tee. I was looking forward to it but left me feeling meh.

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri...9/10

Frances McDormand is excellent as the mother wanting progress on catching her daughter's killer. Sam Rockwell equally as good in a uncomfortable way, playing a racist cop. Bleak humour, some things I wasn't expecting and moments of people actually clapping in the cinema. For me just a great film but I've lived in a very small rural Missouri town which may have helped.

Tom Cruise in Live Die Repeat:

I enjoyed this one immensly and scored it 8/10
A cross between Groundhog day and war of the worlds.

Tom's been demoted to private and is told he has to be transported in the next wave against the alien horde.
Hes not well happy as he is personally escorted onto the flying troop carrier.
Not combat ready he gets taken out early doors and reawakens to fight the alien horde once more.
It's a puzzle and the more he is regenerated the more advanced into the mission he becomes.
Some very nice csi and special effects and Tom being Tom remains cool as fook throughout.

Here is a short clip.
