Good shout for both sides that. Bristol City are in poor form in the league. They will step up for their game with us but that team beats them with the creativity it has. We need a more solid and experienced side for Burnley.

No one should see Anfield as a priority. The two cup games are. Lose at Anfield and gap might be 12pts. Oh well. 4th round of FA cup, a game from league cup final and 12pt lead...take that.

But, but, but if the dippers best us they win the league, don't they??

That will be the narrative. They will all reach for their giddy faint couches and when they regain consciousness, they will start suggesting that the mighty Scouse have vowed revenge on City for taking it away from them in May 2014 and will haul that big old lead of our's right back.
