Former City Player George Glendon Rape Case (NOT GUILTY)

He was found innocent today after a jury containing nine women and three men only took 30 minutes to give their final verdict..... he told the court that the woman removed her dress and got into the bed he was sleeping in, she then started to kiss him and took off his pants when she got on top of him.

He said the sexual act only lasted 5 seconds and he rang her a taxi and asked her to leave, she felt embarrassed and refused to put her dress on.

Cases like these are a very common occurrence, more so with slightly famous people. Georges name and picture has been dragged through the mud, whereas the woman who accused him has kept her anonymity. When held under court for rape charges the male should be able to keep his anonymity as well until the final verdict.

Good - lesson learnt for him to avoid sleeping with women who are too pissed and he can get on with his life.

Does this mean the media will retract "Former Manchester City Player" from reporting of this case now?
