Manchester City's FA Cup fourth round tie away to either Cardiff City or Mansfield Town is to be screened live.

The Blues will take on the winners of the third round replay between the two sides, with the fourth round game to be shown live on BBC on Sunday 28 January at 4pm.

City were drawn away after beating Burnley 4-1 last weekend and will travel to either Field Mill or the Cardiff City Stadium.

Pep Guardiola's men will discover who they will face on Tuesday 16 January, when Mansfield host the Bluebirds in the replay.

I see we have the late kick off on Sunday, then a home game against WBA on Wednesday night, whilst united have their game on Friday night before their away game on Wednesday at Spurs, convenient that.
We've has much worse instances than that.

To be honest with rotation and a home game to follow I really don't think its excessive.

Playing Friday night in Yeovil is a 12pm start, Sunday 4pm aint good but it is better than Friday evening.

It is in comparison to them.
Yeah but they also picked the rags for tv (imagine that!!) and even with a bit of extra time to prepare they have Spurs away not West Brom which is far harder game ...it's not brilliant but it's been much much worse in the past.

Would rather be giving a big revenue to Mansfield than Cardiff. It will no doubt be on TV, due to the giant killing opportunity.
