Alexis Sanchez

No, if they accepted our bid, they would then accept Utd matching it & allow them to talk to Sanchez as well, & offer him twice the wages. Then it's upto him.

It's still upto him now. He can tell Utd to fuck off & sign for City. If he doesn't, it's because he wants more money.
This. All he has to do is wait. Arsenal are signing Malcolm. They will take the 20 million off us if Sanchez refuses to go elsewhere.

If he comes here, the rags are going to have some serious egg on their face after making a push.

And, no one will be able to accuse him of coming for cash.

This could be magic.

I like how we are all taking the paper talk as Gospel. Until Arsenal/the buying club announce the deal then anything could happen.

Even the bbc are still reporting he favours joining city.

Guess any transfer involving us potentially won’t break until after today’s game.

The plan is you buy players who
Improve your team and competition in the squad.

RVP was short term but played a massive part in helping them win the league and Ibra helped them across the line back into the Champs lge and silverware to boot.

Sanchez whether at City or United still has the same period of longevity and yet both Pep and Mourinho plus PSG plus Bayern Munich wanted him. The plan is simple to improve the team and all four of those managers cannot be wrong.

No, the 'plan' was for City to add him to the list of players we have 'planned' on signing.

There is no Utd 'plan' for Sanchez. It's a reaction to being shit. Well, the 'plan' as with Ibra & Lukaku, is to throw him in & hope it works out.

In the grand scheme of things I wouldn't be too concerned about the Rags getting Sanchez if it meant we were able to get someone like Dybala in the summer.

There are players out there who will improve us more than Sanchez, the trick is to identify them young and get them in before they become world class.

As a thought, who would you rather have in our squad for the next 4 years?, Sanchez or Salah?

That is rich coming from City fans.

Lets just remember where we came from.

If it was all about football, why did Messi and Ronaldo sign a ridiculous contract with their respective clubs? Cash will always be king, footballers have no loyalty to any team but themselves. The sooner football fans realise that, the better.

If that ws the case, most of City's current best players would be elsewhere.

Sanchez tbh. Salah is overrated IMO
