CL Quarter Final Draw - Liverpool A Apr 4th - H Apr 10th

Imagine what a 10 days this could be. 3 huge games and what a time to be a blue. This could be one of the greatest few weeks in our history.

Could be the kind of fortnight that makes this team go down in history. Actually this team will already go down in history, but this would be one of the crowning moments that people think of when they look back at the season.

Beating the rest of the top 4, Liverpool twice, and a derby to become the quickest team in history to win the league, and get through to a Champions League semi-final.

Playing the first leg at anfield is a massive plus for us. We seem to have something of a mental block playing there. If we were playing the first leg at home the risk would be that we would try too hard to finish the tie off, risk getting caught on the break. And, almost whatever the score, Liverpool would be confident playing the second leg at anfield. Now the anfield game is unlikely to be decisive (unless in our favour). We can play our normal game, perhaps dialled down a tad. Given the pressure on them to get a lead, I think we could end up turning them over there.

EUFA have confirmed the referee for both legs of the Liverpool v Manchester City games will be reffed by Pietro Waltoni.
The times of the Liverpool penalties are yet to be confirmed.
