In the first game, yes. In this game, they were always going to be exposed for 90 minutes. We needed to take more of those chances, because we were obviously going to get fuck all from the referee. Unfortunately, in order to win a game against a decent opponent, we have to absolutely dominate them to make the ref a non-factor.Well we played our hearts out. Shame our defence is an expensive shambles.

We have all the possession but either don't create chances or miss chances.
Opposition have 1 chance and score.
Until we sort that out we won't progress at the very top.
We did score though It was incorrectly disallowed for the second time. 2-0 up at half time and we would've done it.
They might have another Champions league trophy though, something we have never had.
They have 20 league titles to fall back on.

They have 18 league titles and the last time they won it I wasn't even born let alone a Premier league title.

Problem in the modern game is that the CL is the big one,
League titles don’t matter as much as they used to in the grand scheme of things.
