I have no doubt Pep and key players will leave and the lack of money and the attraction of champions league football will mean poor recruitment. A poorer team will then struggle for a top four finish in two years time. In those two years our rivals will strengthen even more. This is a critical time.

At best, an appeal will get the ban reduced to 1 year plus fine but revenue will dive.
