Looked disinterested and was literally pocketed by VVD and Qansah. Softest big Norwegian Meat Shield around. He’s no Joe Jordan or Big Mac is he?!
Tbf, he likes to receive the ball a certain way, but when the team REALLY needs you to stop the ball coming straight back, he really should be able to hold the ball up and make stronger challenges.
It was laughable that in the 90-somethingth minute he has a “tussle” with Gomez!!! Was he too afraid to stand up to someone his own size for the first 90 minutes?!
Given that level of effort, and the smiling he was doing for the cameras at the end of the game, his Dad must have already lined up his day in the sun in a year or two!
He came, he saw, he conquered. And on the second day, he rested…with his 5 medals and slew of personal awards.
And, yes, that’s harsh, but this was the biggest stage in the world today and he fluffed his lines miserably.
