We went for a day out to Llandudno a couple of years ago (lovely place) and decided to drive through Rhyl on the way home just to see. I was shocked at what a shit hole it is. I think our drive through was summed up by the site of a man, naked from the waste down stood in a seafront apartment window, a bottle of beer in one hand and wanking away with the other for all to see! No one batted an eye lid.

Thinking of going for a couple of weeks for the August bank holiday weekend.

Anyone recommend any decent hotels, restaurants, tourist attractions etc?

2 nights would be bad enough 2 weeks would

You won't want to spend a couple of weeks in Rhyl!! A couple of hours will be more than enough! It's a hole these days! Llandudno (as mentioned earlier) is much nicer!! Or a bit further back along the coast rhos on sea is nice!! Lots of retired folk, but nice!
