PL to investigate City's academy transfers

Surely if there's been no formal complaint then there's nothing for the Premier League to investigate?

Just read the whole article.

It appears offering potential footballers world class facilities and a 1st class education, regardless of whether or not you make it as a footballer, is unfair.

Bit radical I know But how about competing instead of moaning.

The bitterness is palpable.

Sounds like it's complete bullshit. This is from later in the article -

Moulden left Liverpool for City at the end of last season. As part of the Five Step Process the Premier League seeks to establish if there are sound footballing reasons for a player moving between Category One clubs, which involves interviews with both clubs, the player and his parents — a process that is continuing in the Moulden case.

City insist that the Premier League’s investigation is a routine application of the Five Step Process and are confident that the transfer will be signed off. Of the 37 transfers of players between Category One Academies to be scrutinised since last summer, 36 have been ratified by the Premier League

The "investigation" is just the standard process every transfer goes through.

So it's paedophilia and unethical practices in our youth system this week. Anyone would think the press were casting around for negative non-stories about us

Do you guys think Diaz will be integrated into the first team next season? he will be 18, think its the right time to get him in the mix like we´ve done with Loftus Cheek
Plus im jealous as fuck that you guys have him, he is going to be a star absolutely no doubt about it
