Real Madrid Champions League q/f 2nd leg (H) | Man of the Match

KdB. But this was a tough one. As too many players just didn’t reach their usual level. Nor fis KdB tbh. Still proud. Real played like a Mourinho side. Ancelotti is just a bit more well liked.

Real Madrid post match post mortem

First 15 min haunted us. But we were by far the better side. Pity destructive football got rewarded. Nowadays pundits and media say it’s great defending. It just ordinary ‘catenaccio’. I think we can held our heads high. CL still not friendly for us.

Exactly this. Will never understand why we started like this. Ever. After their goal we looked good. But we need improvement.

    Real Madrid (H) - Wed 17th April, 20:00 | CL | Pre-Match Thread

We are the favourites tonight. And I find it hard to expect another thrashing of Real like last year. Don’t worry. Pep, players and fans are all up for it. And we are at home. The few who didn’t perform to the utmost best last week will improve tonight. I’m confident. And fck nervous. Still...

13 Years Ago Today City 1 Rags 0 FA Cup Semi Final Wembley

This is one a few days I wish I could do all over again. Brilliant time on the ferry. The beer. Train to shithole London. The nerves creeping in. Usual prematch full English breaky. The growing nerves. Sky blue sky. The Greeman. The beer. The joy. The many friends. The singing...

    Cole Palmer

Last time I participate in the Cole Palmer thread. He is a Chelsea player and decided himself to leave. I felt sorry he left mainly due to him being a highly talented player from Manchester and our academy. Not sure if he would have made it to a more regular starter at City, but tbh I never...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Just saw the Daily Fail provided yet another article about the 115 charges to ease the sorrow of tarquins and dippers. Oh, and to fuel more motivation in the City squad. They still don’t get it …

    The Title Race - 2023/24

Really enjoyed the weekend and the points unexpectedly dropped by both Arsenal and Liverpool. When we play Brighton the table probably will look differently again. There are still many points to play for and many to be dropped. Last weekend results however has put a (huge) dent in those clubs...

    The Title Race - 2023/24

Didn’t expect Arsenal and Liverpool dropping points this weekend. Yet. The media … The pundits … The Arsenal fans after celebrating Liverpool losing to Palace … Time to celebrate. Not too much. We are far from there yet. I stick to 115 minutes drinking beer. Table looks more traditional.

    Genesis.

In not to fond when its a coverband tbh. Hackett has the advantage to have been a member of the great Genesis. I did see Musical Box and it came close. But than again I was fortunate my 1st Genesis concert early 70-ies included the “ever changing outfits” Gabriel.

    Genesis.

Can’t get Sky art. Used to be my favorite band in the 70s and 80s. Still like to listen to it once in a while. Gonna visit Steve Hackett gigg in July. He’s done some great work with Genesis songs.

Premier League Games 13/14/15 April '24

You just notice this now or recently? It’s been going on since 2010 when we were labelled noisy neighbours by the same person that later stated City would never win the league in his lifetime.
