    25 | Manuel Akanji - 2023/24

    Outstanding again, never panics.

James McAtee | On loan at Sheffield United

They have a much, much stronger and experienced squad already than Sheffield United to be fair. And you'd imagine they will strengthen as opposed to weakening their team upon promotion.

    What are your roads like?

Shit. I don't know anything about tarmac, but however they do the repairs it doesn't work. In some cases a few weeks later the repair has crumbled away leaving a bigger hole than before.

    25 | Manuel Akanji - 2023/24

Was going to say, at least 3rd behind Rodri and Foden but you could argue he's been more consistent than both.

    Joao Neves

I've actually never seen either of them play, just a daft sardonic comment. I have seen Couto a few times though, and genuinely don't think he's good enough. There's always the Pep coaching caveat, but whilst he looks talented and is still young obviously, he reminded me quite a lot of a less...

    Joao Neves

Fast forward two years and Perrone is going for £100m whilst we're loaning Neves out to Juve or some such....

    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2023/24

Still think he's almost good, but isn't yet.

What city/town do you hate the most?

Fort William. Tourism/travel hub of the Highlands, beautiful location, absolute dump imo. I mean, there's loads worse places, but I don't hate them because I never go back to them.

    Jude Bellingham

Entire Madrid team were at it, but he was the worst offender. They obviously have an inferiority complex after last seasons spanking and we're trying everything they could to get a result to take to the 2ng leg where they know we can pump them. Bellingham as the new star obviously wanted to...

    18 | Stefan Ortega - 2023/24

My thought is that Ederson will be number one whilst Pep is here. Ortega is obviously a really good keeper, but the distribution difference is the key. Teams would realise that we'd be much weaker under a high press if Ortega was our number one and our possession game would suffer. You can't...

    Aston Villa (H) - Wed 3rd April, 20:15 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Haaland is fantastic, immense goal scorer, huge character and will be back to his best at some point. But I'm not going to lie, kind of enjoy our football more without him in the team this season.

    Players who might improve us

I know we're constantly evolving etc, but we've been pretty successful without a traditional left-back.

    Players who might improve us

Totally agreed. And considering we usually line up with 3-4 central defenders each game, I think we could accommodate him.

    11 | Jeremy Doku - 2023/24

I think it worked really well against Newcastle, as a surprise disruptive tactic. They clearly weren't expecting him to play in there. I don't see him playing that role regularly, at least not for a while. Don't think he has the fitness for it, or the ability to protect the ball reliably.

    52 | Oscar Bobb - 2023/24

Like when Foden was breaking through, I find myself checking the teams hoping he's in the eleven.
