Just to echo the comments above
A lovely service which could have gone on for days with stories of Bill's ever so full life.
I'll certainly never forget him
My love to Jeanie and the whole family
Goodbye my friend x
Gelsenkirchen, the Shalke trip
Surprised you remember that Ric. You were proper shitfaced at game time
I was with him on the tram that was attacked after the match
For a number of years a scouse Everton fan worked for him and Bill made it known on here
Then, during the Pearce era, Bill started a thread and declared he was sick of City and that it'd be more fun to be a Liverpool supporter plus he'd have more banter at work
This forum almost exploded
I'll keep this relatively short as there's so much I could say
I met Bill at the first Bluemoon five a side and we became mates following it and I'd call at the "emporium" and have a brew whilst he and his employees would play Mario cart
I had the great pleasure of travelling with him to Shalke...
I called into Bill's shop this afternoon but the part timer had left for the day :-) I messaged him and he very kindly gave me a ring
I have to say, considering what he's suffering he is incredibly positive
When at school, (40 years ago now)the more intelligent kids were City fans. The dick heads who all turned into druggies and burgers were utd supporters
