He’d be perfect for us. Can play as an 8 or a 6, which is exactly what we need - someone to play as a 6 when Rodri is rested but also someone who will still start most games even when Rodri is playing. The Gundo replacement, essentially. Then Paqueta is the Bernardo replacement.

I think their structure is the most balanced/complete between attack and defence. Their attack is performing at least as good as ours (if not marginally better) and their defensive structure is much better than ours imo. Overall, I think that makes them the best team. But let’s hope we can win...

They are this season, I agree. But the margins are so fine this year that the best team might not actually win. The saying “the best team always wins the league” is said so often that it’s treated as undeniable fact, but I don’t think 38 games is some incredibly vast sample size whereby the best...

To win the league we’ll have to make it a run of 9 league wins on the bounce. The most we’ve won on the bounce this season is 6. Everyone seems very sure that we’ll win 9 in a row though. We will realistically need Spurs or Rags to take something off Arsenal imo.

Blasphemous I know, but I don’t think we will win all our remaining games. Still think we’ll need Arsenal to drop points in their last 4.

Doku has really been exceptional. Every decision, every action, has been spot on.
