Kevin De Bruyne - 2016/17 performances

Last season you could count the number of bad games he had on one hand. This season is a different story. Even though he's picked up quite a few assists this season they have usually come from when he was playing shite all game. We need more than the odd good cross from him. We need him to dominate games like he used to. He needs to have his holiday and then come back for pre season and pull his finger out.

First impression is decent first hour, but then for some reason he seemed to tail off, with passes going astray

Terrible 2nd half. Should have been hauled off earlier.

Thought he was awful today. Passing poor, work rate not great, pulling out of tackles. Hoping he is back to his best next season.

Shocking again today, and I'm far from convinced he'll ever become the player we'd hoped under Pep. Kev is an out and out counterattacker in a team that doesn't do a lot of counterattacking. Slow possession based football and parked buses just aren't his thing and some of his mincing tackling today made Martin Petrov look like Tommy Smith with a hangover. Not convinced he's suited to how Pep wants us to play to be honest

well off his level at present...if ilky was fit he would be dropped.

he looked great earlier on in the season don't know what's happened since. I think it could be due to the deeper role he is playing.

Terrible today. Looked like he was trying to force it but he wasn't even completing easy passes.
