He won't serve a day. Hopefully he will decide that the Spanish have got it in for him and give his mate Pep a tinkle.
 
Isn't there some Spanish law that white collar crime and a sentence under two years means no time, just suspended?

It's not like he is a danger to society, and I've no idea if he paysa big fat penalty, but maybe a year of home arrest (i.e. No football) would make others less likely to do this shit?

Yes, in answer to your first sentence. Although not officially law, it is what happens over there.
