Tuchel Sacked

Not much of a surprise as his relationship with their hierarchy was, apparently, frosty at best. He didn't help his cause by making some odd calls over the course of the season. Leaving out Pulisic and Dembele away at Monaco didn't make any sense and he had to bring them on at half time when the tie was all but over. Nevertheless, Dortmund's performances home and away against Madrid were stonking, but ultimately they didn't win either game.

Not a surprise. Dortmund fans been saying for weeks he will leave after the season. Seemed to have fallen out with a lot of people within the club. Scouts, coaching staff, management, some of the players. It was inevitable.

Too far off the pace in the league, bit of a surprise but they are 14 points worst off than his 1st season with them last year. Did lose a few players last summer though.

Lucien Favre rumoured, had a great season with Nice, did a good job with Monchengladbach too.

Ajax's Bosz seems to be the most likely candidate right now.

Tuchel's agent denied rumours on joining Leverkusen which is understandable - they have a very good squad but serious management problems judging by press.

He wasn't sacked because of their performance, but because he had a huge falling out with the board and some of the older players.
