There this literally no way that Pep or City will sell Kun this summer unless he specifically tells the club he wants to. And he won't because he's secretly fallen in love with Pep and thinks he's played the best football of his career in the last few months (IMO).

If I was Agüero I would be thinking that Pep is the one manager in the world who could take me to the next level. From being seen as the best in the Premier League to getting recognition as one of the very best players in the world. Ballon d'Or podiums etc.

Not to mention the most likely coach to deliver a hatful of trophies.

But we just end up buying someone equally as good (hopefully) and they end up playing and competing against him, while at the same time having 10 million less to replace him with. That would be a rather emotive decision, not a logical, business decision.

If they had any other option than to sell him to a domestic rival they would have.

That sale went down incredibly badly as well and will only have reinforced their desire to sell abroad if at all possible.

I can see this from Arsenal's point of view but Sanchez (and his agent) won't accept Bayern if a) it's not the platers preferred option and b) it means lower wages.

They don't rate the player they're selling, but they sure as hell don't want him ending up on the other side.

Levy reported rejected a bigger United offer for Bale because he wanted Bale out of the country, not rubbing Spurs face in it by being the best player in the league for years at another club.

The one element no one can counter for is what is going on in Sanchez' head, obviously Bayern are a huge club but does he want to play in their average league? Is Sanchez infatuated with playing in the Prem, is he desperate to win the Prem?
