It appears that Wenger would sanction a move to Bayern.However it seems from that post that Sanchez would prefer us.
Thats my take on it,but I may well be wide of the mark.

Sanchez would be a good signing for City but for me he is not as good as Sergio or Jesus, cant see him wanting to be third choice striker and I cant see City getting rid of Sergio..

So Bayern need to offer less to Arsenal to get Sanchez than we would? Not going to happen. Eventually and reluctantly they'll sell him to us.
It appears that Wenger would sanction a move to Bayern.However it seems from that post that Sanchez would prefer us.

Same thing I took from it. Also, the wages Sanchez is seeking could disrupt Bayern's pay structure. They may not prefer to pursue if it means re-doing other deals to come in line with Sanchez wages.

Another step in the right direction IMO. Arsenal are resigned to losing him, but are trying to ship him outside the league first. Further, by delaying City's advances, they hope we'll get itchy and move on to plan B or Sanchez himself will have a change of heart and go elsewhere.
If player and club stay the course, he'll be ours.
