Seven months before another election, which Labour squeaked a majority and governed until 1979.

Markets don't react to events. They react to prediction of events.

You could tell them the Lib Dems were going to win 6 months out and it would be fine.

It's things not going as predicted that moves markets, not them making judgements on events.
