I loved one summer and Brookside also. Does anybody remember Scully? parts of it were filmed in Hulme.

And Lacey Green, the bit where Dalglish is in the sports shop, the kids from the estate robbed the place.

Love any "gritty Northern realism" by Willy Russell, Ken Loach, Alan Bleasdale, Jimmy McGovern or Paul Abbot.

Keep meaning to watch Bleasdale's GBH. Anyone recommend it?
