We should adopt a Northern Europe philosophy. Upset no one, defence force only, no Nuclear weapons, join as many free trading blocs as possible, and pay your due to do so. Never get involved with other countries politics. Educate the people with the money you are saving from the military spend. Live and let live. Balance the divide between rich and poor with taxation. Countries in Northern Europe have large, developed economies and some of the highest standards of living in the world.

Oh I don't know...can't get the deal from the EU? EU's fault for being difficult. Economy tanking? The EU is trying to crush us. England football team loses? Bloody EU strikes again with a biased Italian ref. Everything that goes wrong will be 'those damned Europeans punishing us for Brexit'.
It will never end.

Yeah I'll sign on for that as well.
We leave the EU, we renegotiate terms of trade under EEA or EFTA rules or WTO. I'm now leaning towards WTO personally and then making a new arrangement later down the line.
Do you think its practical to switch from trading within the single market to WTO rules from March 2019?

That's why ( in an earlier post) he predicted 17 years of economic hardship post Brexit.

depends on your perception of the height of the cliff being 'deadly' though, which is the point. some are saying "we'll end up breaking our legs if we jump" others say "worse, we'll die" and others say "Bones heal". truth is no-one knows anything concrete.
The analogy was known/unknown. For the known option, there is nothing to claim, as that was the status quo.

Indeed. Just a shame our politicians for many years have been beholden to the elite who do not want to pay taxes.
