Kippax

Ha ha

Going to Leeds and coming back with one of their scarves was a right of passage.

Going wild when Niall Quinn curled the
third(I think) one in against Leeds when they were going for the title, Quinn's penalty save against Derby, Courtney's shambolic display when we lost 0-3 to Liverpool.

Remeber Everton fans one night game in the scoreboard end about 69/70 getting all giddy City fans steemd in from the kippax and gave em it good style lol took a few years till Everton came back with a mob MCFC OK

Remember that we'll. Started over nothing then..........Kippax boys appeared & absolutely spread the scousers.

Night match in spring ?

That may have been the derby that became known as the battle of The Kippax.
Bricks, bottles all sorts of stuff lobbed that day. Lots of bloody heads I seem to remember.

That was August 68,about 3/4 th game in.

More glass than Pilkingtons that day, streams of fans walking round the pitch, claret everywhere.

When Colin Bell made his return against Newcastle that was an emotional day in the Kippax .also remember mass battles with the Geordies before and during the game.loads of bricks were getting thrown from the back of the Kippax but they were also hitting City fans

Someone must have that picture of a fan being escorted along the outside of the Kippax with a dart sticking out of his head.

Let's have it.
