If that's true then I would not sign him, means he is doesn't want to compete and just wants a paycheck...doesn't make sense seeing that he was 2nd choice at the end of last season

Darren Lewis just quoted Kyle Walker will not go to City & sit on the bench. Why would he when the World Cup is coming up & watching Dani Alvez all year.
If that's Liverpool, UTD or Spurs it's the best signing of the season.

Dont know about Hernandez, but if we buy one this summer, then we would probably sell Otamendi, next summer Kolarov goes, and Kompany will be 32, he may do another season or maybe two but he isnt going to be a player that plays into his mid thirties, wouldn't expect so anyway.
If he can put his injuries behind him, wouldn't he want to make up for lost time? There have been players eg Giggs who have had poor injury records in mid career but then regain fitness and keep going.
