I'd assume it's also because Pep may want an additional right back too, centre back might be the spot deemed to be capable of waiting for. Must admit though I'd class that as a mistake, I'd sacrifice the additional right back to ensure we got another central defender, unless of course Mendy is considered good enough to play there?

Thanks for sharing. Although I can't dispute the suggestion he went to a specialist in animal (!) health and performance, it's pseudoscientific nonsense.

When players are injured they are required to increase their protein intake, and there's no evidence that shows too much is bad for you (except you end up with expensive urine!).

Sounds like voodoo mate. There is no way we can categorically know looking from the outside how likely his injuries are to recur, the medical team may have a better idea but will certainly not know.

Barcelona won the chempions leauge with pique and maschrano (and very weak coverd to them ) but with great attack !.. so I think Pep think that Sanchez is more importent this summer!
