haha! nice one zin. :-)
I guess at this point the only hope is us not agreeing on a fee with WBA. Fingers crossed we don't.
We're not going to sign two more foreign players, so I don't see why the CB has to be homegrown, though? Why can't we e.g. hijack Sanchez (Ajax) instead? Or take a punt on a younger CB with potential from La Liga or Serie A? Or even Championship?
Baffling.
This has got to be we need a home grown replacement for Mangala, which means we may have a couple of foreign signings sorted.
I hope its not true and i'm sure there are better home grown options out there but
In Pep I trust.
Hopefully Nzonzi in for me.
This actually makes a ton of sense. Allows us to get in more of our 'priority' guys who, of course, aren't homegrown. This has got to be we need a home grown replacement for Mangala, which means we may have a couple of foreign signings sorted.

This is the reason why this is probably going to happen I think. The club must be ultra confident of getting Sanchez which will take a large chunk of the transfer budget and Evans is HG, premier league experienced and in terms of cost is relatively cheap in todays transfer marketThis actually makes a ton of sense. ThisI'm finding it hard to judge this until I see the overall picture of the remaining transfers.
