At the end of the day would any club buy a player for £60 million plus wages for one season? Could get injured at anytime. Factor in player would rather be elsewhere. Not a chance. That is effectively what Arsenal would be doing. Makes no sense at all.

It's the very problem Arsenal have, in a nutshell. Whilst City, Utd etc were an absolute fucking mess, managed by idiots, Arsenal siezed their opportunity by winng a cup & now see that as some measure of success.
All I'm saying is the statement that was made is true. Irrespective of opinion, situation or circumstance, he isn't wrong.It's the very problem Arsenal have, in a nutshell.
