Suarez wanted to go home, nothing we could do about it.
The rest are hardly pulling up trees are they, except Trippier who has done well for himself but we have just bought the guy in front of him and Spurs have promoted a kid above him.
Trippier has had an ankle injury. He's impressed for England and Spurs.

IMO we should not let the player decide to play in a lesser league.

Unfortunately we seem generally weak in our management of players, be it paying over the odds when buying players, over paying wages, getting poor returns when selling players, failing to develop players to apparent potential etc.

But apart from that, what has HRH Sheik Mansour ever done for us?

I really think we should reconsider loaning players to Celtic or indeed the Scottish League, twice in recent years we have loaned players there and twice they have done pretty much everything you would hope, but when they returned what had we learned pretty much nothing because you have to discount everything because the league isn't competitive.

Its a safe bet now that Roberts won't make it which is really disappointing given the hype when he signed

Sheikh Mansour has helped dreams come true. All City fans will be forever grateful.

Our club has been transformed since he took over but we still seem to get poor deals with sales, acquisitions etc.

We shouldn't need to offer double wages and OTT fees for mediocrity like Evans. We seem a "soft touch" in negotiations.

Roberts needed to prove himself against better opposition week in and week, but he rejected loans to Southampton and another club (Newcastle?).
Finished for us I think.

If you believe everything you read then it certainly appears that way.

Twice they've done everything they can to get a player to try and force a move back to them regardless of the club's wishes as well.

I hope he does well for Celtic but it's not a move that's going to improve his game.

Making the same mistake twice is stupid, obviously wants an easy life and tin pot glory rather than try and prove himself. On reflection if he was as good as claimed then he would have beaten Sinclair to PoS
