That is the financial sacrifice Wenger and the club might have to take. Imagine the meltdown if Sanchez joined City this season after what has happened in their previous two games?

I personally can't see it happening. They will have a much better chance of getting CL with him than without him that is for sure.

Bringing in £60/70 million for Sanchez offsets the risk of missing out on CL football next season.

Also, you get bet your last pound that come January, when he signs a precontract with another side, there will be many more performances like yesterday from him.

If Arsene had any sense he'd also give Ozil a take it or leave it contract offer. He could easily play the victim, say the club had no choice but to sell them due to their attitude and have a shit load of money to reinvest. He could easily recoup £150 million (minimum) on Sanchez, Ox and Ozil.

However, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Arsenal force Sanchez and Arsenal to stay, they have another mediocre season where they miss out on CL football and then lose them both on a free. All because he's a stubborn prick who would rather keep a player against his will to prove a point to the detriment on the side.

they would have nothing left of a team and very little time to rebuild it this transfer window even with the money they would get....

Would serve Wenger right for stubbornly holding onto a player that clearly wants to leave. Would actually be funny seeing the board force the sale and seeing Wenger flapping trying to get a replacement in.

Ox doesn't even play Sanchez's position, ontop of being moved to CM/WB with them having Monreal/Kols/Gibbs/Bellerin for the position he currently plays

With them letting Ox go ..looking forward to us getting Sanchez. Shows they know they have to get rid of the players they want out. Not that I wasn't confident it wasn't happing anyway but yeah,all good. Said it a while back,reckon we'll hear summat on Tuesday ..it'll get done finally.
