Ashton is where we normally stay, tram right outside either to the ground or into town.

Stayed there as well but for some reason they are really overpriced on a Saturday.
Altrincham,Sportscity and Bolton usually the cheapest.
Glossop looks ideal as well,just across from the train station.

Premier inn Oldham Broadway we've done as well, bus into town or 2 minute walk to Moston train station.

Does it have to be a Travelodge..the Premier Inn Bury is beside Bury Interchange.
