I feel so sorry for him, anyone could have been injured by that challenge, it's why tackles from behind are illegal.


Referee allowed it to happen with a shocking approach to the game before the tackle, he let them get away with anything.
 
Gundogan was really bossing the game, what a shame.

Hopefully its not too serious.
 
I was really annoyed at that challenge it seemed a spiteful one because Ilkay had dribbled the ball so far(from inside his own half pretty much) and could have possibly been about to shoot.

When refs aren't giving second yellows for nothing... they are putting our players in danger of being injured by not stamping out reckless challenges early on in games, he let it become one of those games... for West Brom at least, he seemed to be all too willing to show our players yellow for giving any back which made it worse.

Oh for fuck's sake. He was brilliant up until his injury. Not just that sprint but his turns and creative distribution. Like he never missed a Here is hoping it seemed worse than it is.
 


He's revised this tweet, should read, it's not too serious, he won't be out for 8 months.
