Oh I'm not disagreeing in the least about Aguero's quality. But Kane looks rather bloody good to me now too.

What I mean is, 23/24 year old Aguero was on another level of striker. He was ridiculously ruthless that season too.

Oh I don't know....that goal at Watford wasn't bad.

He's no Rashford though.

Aguero in Europe before City, 38 appearances 19 goals, Kane 36 appearances 17 goals. Hardly clear cut. I'm not sure a side winning a cup says anything much about the individual player.

Aguero and Kane are arguably as different as strikers get. I'd take Aguero over Kane any day, especially in a Pep team. but that doesn't mean he's better.

Kane's #1 problem is that he literally shoots whenever he thinks there's any chance at all that it might go in. Aguero is less selfish.
