After listening to the album since Friday I can say it’s a great album an 8.5/10 there are at least 6 songs on there that a truly great.

Wow. Truly great? Music certainly is subjective as another poster has said.

Listened to it 4 times now and there’s only 1 song that I’ve added to my play list. Wife really likes it though so I imagine I’ll be attending a gig of his at some point.

In the meantime I’ll be dragging her to see Sleaford Mods next weekend for an evening of drinking red stripe and listening to a middle aged bloke rant.

Just listened to it and pleasantly surprised. Couple of great tunes, the rest not bad. He seems to have got his voice back, as well. Could be a grower.

On the standard version of the album he wrote 6 out of 12 and co-wrote 4 more. Of the 3 extra tracks on the deluxe edition, he wrote 2 and co-wrote the other so out of 15 songs there are only 2 that he didn’t have a hand in writing.

What's that got to do with it? If he ever got anywhere near the heights elvis did he'd be a very happy man. But there's not a fucking cat in hells chance of that ever happening for obvious reasons.
