It always amazes me to think of all the football boffins who come up with stats like we're the first team since everton in the 19th century to score 29 goals in their first 8 games and yet u****d won the European checkertrade trophy without beating a side from the top 4 leagues in Europe. Just wondering has this been done before and by who?. Obviously the media haven't mentioned it perhaps not wanting to belittle their achievement and piss on their parade

Maybe thats fun but I prefer analysis, read his comments and you’ll see that he was talking about why with only two fit central midfielders he couldn’t change the midfield against Liverpool’s 3 plus Coutinho who frequently drops deep. He tried other things like bringing on speed in attack but it didn’t have an effect on the result.
I don't believe for one minute that you "prefer analysis " , because you clearly are as brain washed as the core of deluded United " supporters " if you cannot see that Mourinho is always full of excuses and lies in order to present a justification for his tactics.
His defence ( or actually his excuses ) of his tactics against Liverpool simply do not hold water, as his default approach to games against the better teams in the PL is ALWAYS to offer blanket, sterile defensive football, with the intention of achieving a 0-0 draw or possibly a 1-0 win. The man is a coward who has succeeded in winning many trophies, with no concern about the manner in which those successes have been achieved.
For once the media called the performance out for what it truly was , turgid , uninspired and boring. That for the British media is very untypical , but as a United supporter, you are blind to this overt bias.
You will no doubt see that display as a stroke of football genius, ignoring the total lack of ambition shown towards winning the game, against a Liverpool team who whilst have good attacking ability, have a weak defence. Mourinho, as ever, was content to stifle the game.
You are attempting to re-write history and present a defence of your manager, who many of your supporters did not want prior to his appointment , due to his egotistical and arrogant manner , and mind numbing tactics.
You may well win trophies with Mourinho, but they will never be in the fabled " United way " ( whatever that is supposed to be ) as they will won without charisma or style.
Defend him all you want, and get used to more histrionics, lies, excuses and dire , uninspired " winning football ".

Mata, Mikiterian, Herrera, there’s 3 for starters, he could have played those 3 with any 3 Rashford, Lingard, Lukaku or Martial up top, he could have played Jones in midfield where he’s played plenty of times. You’re fooling no one with your bullshit and Mourinho isn’t fooling anyone either, apart from you rag arse lickers.

Is Daily Blind not an international centre mid? Phil the Face has played central midfield loads. Mhykitarian and Mata would both play central midfield for City, the former has spent most of his career as a centre mid.
So he loads of options but he won't change his defensive shape or take a chance of attacking players central. He hates it.
