Lovren has a hypnotic quality to him. You just can't take your eyes off him. He makes Otamendi (last season's Otamendi) look like a hybrid of Baresi and Maldini.

If you took Demichelis's pace, Otamendi's rashness (of last year), Stones's error prone nature (of last year), and put all that in Ali Dia's body, you'd still have a better defender than Lovren

I like to think we broke them psychologically. They put on such a show of being victims of Mane's (rightful) red card that they pretended they had no issues defending at all, but every manager out there saw the weakness and how to get at them.

My under 11’s have started playing the offside rule this season. We’ve played 7 matches with the offside rule. Every week, there’s 3 or 4 of them shouting “you can’t be offside from a throw in.”
