No question there are large numbers within the world of media who want us to fail. They have grown up supporting the red teams of Manchester and Liverpool and are finding it very difficult to accept what they are seeing.
Truth is they are watching the best football team in the history of the PL playing football that will very soon be on a par with Pep’s Barcelona in their pomp and possibly even better.
They are hanging on to every tiny thread of hope that we may fail in the end and it will make it even more enjoyable for us when they will have to concede the greatness they are watching. They are screwed and deep inside they all know it.
There was a 'journalist' on Talksport on Saturday morning that wasn't too enamoured with city's style of play because it was too "PlayStationy"!!

If we melded a style of football that encapsulated the best styles that have ever won the PL title, the Barca team of Xabi and Iniesta, the Dutch team of Cruyff and Neeskens, the Hungarians with Puskas, there'd still be some tosser in the media who would say. after whacking team after team with the most breathtaking football, that it was 'too flowery' or he would try to outdo the Emperor who thought Mozart's work contained 'too many notes'!

From sky sports..
'Neville's defence of Jose'

And further down this gem..
'Neville's warning for Man City'

This is the shit we put up with day in and day out.
One club is unbeaten, playing attractive football and is top of the league.
The other club is the complete opposite of the above.
No agenda you say? As clear as day.

The Goatfeeders observations that Klipperty would not attack, would hold more substance if the rags had actually stopped the Mickys making chances, but they made 2 proper and a couple of half chances. Liverpool should have won on the day. Peg defended and hoped that when the scousers had chances they missed.

What's your favourite Raheem Sterling story? Maybe it's the one from this time last year when the Sun revealed that his girlfriend was pregnant and she had "shown off her baby bump" by, unsurprisingly enough, wearing a Manchester City jersey to a Manchester City game with 'Sterling 7' on the back of it.
@Blueknows - You've copy & pasted a full article form a newspaper without any reference as to where it's from or crediting to the journalist who wrote it. It's also a well-established breach of copyright law, which suggests that up to 200 words is the most that can be quoted without permission.

Can I suggest you edit your post, remove most of it and insert a link to the original article so that at least the journalist gets the benefit of people clicking on it.

Did anyone see Sky Sports News this morning comparing Ederson and Bravo's first 10 games? Apparently Ederson has made 2 errors leading to goals already in his first 10 games. Even if they're counting him being off his line for Rodriguez's goal as an error, I have no idea what the other could be.

Shrek. He really, really should have saved that. All in all he's been great though and should only improve as he settles in further and gets more experience.

Ha i saw that this morning, just checked again now and caption changed to 'where Ozil matches De Bruyne'

Where Ozil matches de Bruyne: neither would claim their mother tongue to be English I can't think of another match.

Ozil wakes up from nigh on a season long stupor, has a good game, and all of a sudden he's Dennis Bergkamp!
