This has become a real bugbear of mine. I still hear managers, fans, players,pundits and BM posters refer to the Premier League as the Premiership. It’s not been the Premiership since about 2003! The term evokes that god awful era of 1997-2003, U2’s beautiful day, ITV’s tactics truck and Utd dominance. Why people feel so tied to the term I’ll never understand. So can we as a forum set an example to the rest and remember it’s called the Premier League!
