If the twitter rumors are true that CFG are in for a Belgian club (name escape me), then perhaps he's lining himself up to be DoF there. I could see him in an executive role at City after suitable apprenticeships in the CFG network.

Doubt it, It's been years in the offing. He's clearly a smart guy with an eye on the future, even though he could retire now I'd imagine, with no money issues. Well done Vinny.

Having been through the process here in the States, I can honestly say that what he has done, while juggling the demands of professional football, a family and studying in a second language is massive.

I got mine while working a full time job but with no family - can’t even imagine what it must have been like for him. It was a marathon 3 years for me - well worth it at the end - but I just wanted a year to turn my brain off when finished.

Nothing but respect for him.

I think he put himself through it but it’s taken a few more years than a normal exec student (iirc he started the MBA is 2010/2011) as you’d normally look to complete it in 1 year full time or 3 years part time. I studied at MBS from 2004 to 2007 for an MBA on the exec course.

A masters degree in business administration. A general degree in business where you complete modules in finance, marketing, operations, strategy, IT, and speacialist modules in each including a 3 module project/dissertation. People who want to acquire the necessary tools to run their own business often do an MBA in entrepreneurship which will give them a decent skill set to help them set up, manage, and grow their own business. I suspect Vinny has done a combination of the two since he set up a private hire cab co about the same time he started the MBA.
