Liverpool (A) Post Match Thread.

The biggest sign of character was shown in the first half hour of that second half. We absolutely shit ourselves and let the game get away from us.

Yeah it’s alright when they’ve taken their best players off and dropped intensity to keep going, very nice. But where was the fight when it actually mattered?

Anyway, it’s only one game.
how the fuck did we shit ourselves ? we passed the ball as we always do from the back, we did the same before the 2nd goal and after the 4th goal ,we played our normal game but our passing was way below par, this team of ours has never shit its self ever, and they showed a lot of character as they have all season to keep going until the end,so stop talking shit.

Why did we have Silva on the bench if he wasn't going to play? May as well have just let him be with his missus for the weekend and put a youngster on the bench

Didn’t think it was a push, to be honest.

Stones misjudged the weight of the pass. Went to intercept, and then realising it had more legs, went to maintain a goal side position from Firmino who held his ground and used his body strength to push him off. It was a Stones mistake not a refereeing one.

i think what i said is fair. he's done extremely well since his first season with us but he has a mental block when playing liverpool. Clearly lets the crowd get to him, gets bullied off the ball and quite frankly fails to do the basics.

No, I'll repeat.

Anyone who thinks the 20 year old kid who faced a prolonged racially motivated hate campaign from the most read newspaper in the country, booing (for no reason) at every ground for years, and racially aggravated assault before a game, but has still absolutely thrived and is a contender for player of the season is mentally weak is a fucking clown.

If you mean he struggles against liverpool, write he struggles against liverpool, not that he's mentally weak which is complete and utter shit, and not at all fair.

It’s the same every season, just can’t understand why. Rags and Chelsea do fine there but us we’re always shit
Sterling is part of it. Guaranteed to bottle it just as Nasri did against Arsenal. You can't go to Anfield and not be on it. We're probably better now for getting a bloody nose

Gundogan invisible? not his best game by any means but still did far better than most in that City team today and....scored and made a goal...LOL...clearly becoming City's new scapegoat

Invisible the goal aside and he wasn't alone as Fernandinho was equally as bad today.
