I can definitely recommend Prague, worked and lived there for 10 years and it's where I met my wife. Make sure you wrap up well it'll be a bit chilly!

Great place, I went in late 2016. Relatively small for a capital city, can do most of it on foot if you're able.
Great food and beer and would be a good trip either with a partner or a group of mates.

Will be 4 of us and no drama walking everywhere between hostelries and heavy refreshments, got 4 days to do as much as we can

I spent many a happy year in Prague. It's a beautiful city in a wonderful country. Great food, beer and people. Lots to see and do, both inside and outside the city. My favourite place in the world, though it has changed quite a lot in recent years.

Presume it's fairly cheap to drink there? Hope so as we will hit as many pubs as we can find in between seeing what the City has to offer.

Not as cheap as it used to be and not really cheap at all in the more touristy pubs and bars in the centre but if you can find some more typical Czech places, or go a bit outside the centre, it can be very good value.

Cheers, we always head off the beaten track for food and drink in any City we visit, makes sense and as you say it's cheaper generally than the tourist pubs..Not as cheap as it used to be and not really cheap at all in the more touristy pubs and bars in the centre but if you can find some more typical Czech places, or go a bit outside the centre, it can be very good value.
