just need these twats to lose tomorrow to put them back in their place.....hate them

Wouldnt surprise me in the slightest if it happened either.

This will be a real test of our steel, turning up in big games is fine. Its the smaller teams that seem to give us the most trouble. I swear if we drop points here I flip out lol

I forget how much I hate scousers until I revisit this thread. We’ve allowed some vermin to infiltrate this thread since they won the Premiership last weekend.

Sorry I can’t support them against Swansea. Not convinced how it would help us either?
If you check their post histories, the majority haven’t posted since last summer, then they narrowly beat us and pop up and post like they’re on amphetamines.

That was what we said after you beat us - ok we can take a defeat but in your shoes I'd be livid as to why that level of performance can't be maintained against the "lower" teams. You have some players taking the piss a bit if you ask me - look at our levels game in game out this season

That’s our biggest flaw. Consistency.

We have the quality there’s no doubting that. It’s just doing it on a regular basis we struggle to do.

I don’t think it’s played not trying as hard. I think it’s as much tactical as it is psychological.

When I hear the mawkish ramblings of our friends down the East Lancs It always brings to mind something I read a while back. It was a book about the lads that scout for clubs written by Michael Calvin, basically it gave the "cult beginnings" to Shanklys rallying cry of "We are Liverpool". Behind the facade of unanimity, the family was dysfunctional. It appeared divided by doomed romanticism, emotional incontinence and institutionalised ignorance. The football club which enshrined the socialist philosophy of Shankly now only exists in the imagination of its followers.
When I read that it seemed to me apt then and still is now.

It's the Celtic and Scandinavian that runs through the club.

A mixture of giddiness and steel.

Fuelled by a romantic notion and longing that Liberpool deserve to be winning trophies again.

I respect your right to hold an opinion but at the end of the day it is all about trying to win whilst providing entertainment and we did that in Spades last week. Now tomorrow against Swansea might be quite different, who knows?

You did, but in all reality you should play like that against a lot more teams. It's an odd one. This was the game where I knew our run would end yet you are so many points behind us because you don't do it against lesser teams. Must be really frustrating for you because you have proved you can match the best there is. is there such a thing as a cup side?
